On Thursday, August 2nd, Drs. Eric Sandler, Alexis Conte, and Samantha Greenfield, along with Doctoral intern, Charlotte Parker traveled to Newark to meet with Senator Cory Booker's staff. They took time away from patients to advocate for the passage of proposed legislation to expand choice for Medicare patients. S.2575, the 'Audiology patient choice act' would give patients greater choice and increased access to hearing health care. This bi-partisan legislation was introduced by Senator Elizabeth Warren, and was co-sponsored by Senator Rand Paul. We have requested meetings with Senator Menendez as well.
